Episode 162

In this episode we talk about three school of Raphael murals in Russia being restored with help from America. We have an Art Crime out of France where a man tries to steal artwork from the Louvre in an act of re-appropriation. Also there is probably one of the last known Botticelli paintings in a private collections going up for auction in NY. Other things we talked about were a temple to Pan under a Byzantine church, the Pan & Shrinx mythos, skull studies I'm offering, recent beheadings in France, Poland laws, turning your clock back and time zones, coffin pies, "Jimmies" vs "Sprinkles", pumpkins and more. The PaintingLoft Podcast is about the "Dark Art" community. Exhibitions, Artists, Techniques, Ideas, Scandals & Crimes and all the things worth talking about in the realm the two host participate in. Jessica Perner and Scott Holloway are both artists exhibiting their work globally in the field of art that doesn't truly have a title but is widely accepted as "Dark Art".
