Tys has had a ripper start to the season of giant Southern Bluefin Tuna, having caught 18 ‘Barrel’ sized tuna so far this season. He tells us about the recent Port MacDonnell Offshore Angling Comp, including his epic first day catching 7 Barrels. He also recalls an epic recent catch of a 100+ kilogram Mako Shark and also gives us a wrap up of what was a relatively slower season of fishing off Wirrina over the warmer months.
