Episode 162: WCW SuperBrawl 2000
from What Happened When Hosted by Podcast Heat | Cumulus Podcast Network
Welcome to the final year of WCW! As you can tell from what we are getting ready to watch, the end could not come fast enough. One month after Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit and Perry Saturn walked out the door, World Championship Wrestling tried to keep the in-ring product exciting; but with Lash LeRoux and The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaukea battling for the Cruiserweight title, it was just not the same. They did try to rekindle the Ric Flair-Terry Funk magic from 1989 and had a couple of surprising appearances, but it all fell flat. Join Conrad and Tony to a journey back to Y2K. Did you computer survive that? WCW did not. Spend St. Patrick's Day with Tony, Good Ole JR and Conrad LIVE in Rochester, NY at Comedy at the Carlson on Tuesday March 17, 2020.
