Episode 163: Mario Battle Royale Is BACK!

from Warp World Podcast · host WarpWorldPodcast

GrandPooBear and Xwater are here with the news of the week. Mario's 35th anniversary is now, and they're not holding back. 3d Mario All Stars is big. Mario 35, the new Mario Battle Royale is huge. IRL Mario Kart? Yes please! Keep hitting us with these bangers and the Switch will stay the king. Nvidia just hit us with their new video cards, and wow. They've made a lot of cards obsolete, but they're being fairly reasonable with the new card's prices. Is AMD in trouble? Fall Guys' charity bidding war for a skin in the game is over, with a combined donation of One Million Dollars from G2 Esports, Ninja, Aim Lab, and Mr Beast. They each get a skin, but if that was going to happen, why not just make it a $250k donation? Fall Mania happened last week and it was amazing. It went down to the last event. That leads to our Hot Take. Twitch Rival's Fall Guys event went on a different points system. It meant that the team with the most crowns might not win. Chat wasn't happy with it. Can we come together and make a standard ruleset that will make everyone happy? We have another Hot Take though. Subtember is here, and as has become the standard, it's worse than last year, and the year before. Is it even worth promoting if it's not doing anything for the communities that care the most?
