Episode 163 Vaughn Pfeffer

from Live to Walk Again · host survivingparalysis

This week on the Live to Walk Again Podcast we had the pleasure of speaking with Vaughn Pfeffer who is an Advocate, Motivator, Adaptive Athlete, and Spinal Cord Injury Survivor. We talked about the spinal stroke he suffered two years ago stemming from an aortic dissection, because of the heart condition having to wait six weeks to essentially do any kind of SCI rehab, and some of the different adaptive sports he's had a chance to try out since his injury. We also discussed the unbelievable story of how his father renovated his home to make it accessible for Vaughn and his fiancée to move in with him before his father ultimately ended up suffering a Spinal Cord Injury this past spring. Connect with Vaughn at the IG link below!! Please listen, like, share, rate, and review the podcast!! We're just trying to find a cure for paralysis!!
