This week on the Live to Walk Again Podcast we were lucky enough to visit with Paul Allen who is an Advocate, Adaptive Athlete, and a Spinal Cord Injury Survivor. We talked about the shooting that left him paralyzed, having to go through his hospital stay and rehabilitation while fighting for his freedom, and what it means to him to encourage and motivate other people dealing with this injury. We also discussed some of the aspects of a Spinal Cord Injury that people don't think about, where walking again ranks on the list of possible life improvements for someone with an SCI, and how getting back in the gym after being injured has helped him.
