In this episode, Aron tells us the story of ‘The Revenge of Sín’, a story based in Tara. There are many tales about Tara, where the High King of Ireland ruled from. We chose this because it shows a connection to the land that is not in all the stories. The well being of the land would reflect how the King was the rightful ruler. If the land was sick or there was a plague, it was thought to be the fault of the ruler. This story shows the two sides of that coin, and it has at its centre a woman of the Sídh that caused havoc when she took the throne next to Conn Cead Cathach.
