For starters, I’m thankful that I have made such amazing friends through this teeny blog and podcast that I can drop a dime with just a few days’ notice and score such a wonderful show from it. I’m thankful for having such a supportive wife that I can take time to myself on a holiday weekend with headphones covering my ears, feverishly trying to get a podcast finished. I’m thankful that my favorite baseball team is once again rewarding its faithful fans with an exciting playoff run. This show probably would have hit the feed an hour ago were it not for their late inning dramatics. I’m thankful for my upcoming vacation and the adventures it is sure to provide Lindsay and I. Over the last few days, I have really started to feel just how much I need the upcoming time off. I’m thankful for the film-loving city I live in, and how much material it gives me to keep this space going and still get off my couch. And without a doubt – I’m thankful for you, dear listener, and the quiet encouragement you give little ‘ol me. Happy Thanksgiving… …And thanks for tuning into episode one-hundred-sixty-five.   Rachel’s Twitter feed can be found here.  You can subscribe to the Matineecast via iTunes or RSS Comments and feedback are welcome, and thank-you very much for listening.
