There are some things in life that cannot be done for us.Others can encourage us.Teach us.Support us.But eventually, we must take responsibility for our own actions.Our own choices.Our own growth.Paul understood this reality.The believers in Philippi had received the Gospel.They had witnessed faithful examples.They had been taught the truth.But now Paul encourages them to continue moving forward in their own walk with God.Not because they were earning salvation.But because salvation was already at work within them.And that same encouragement speaks to us today.
