It's just been reimagined for 2024, and I think it's going to be better than ever, because more of us will be able to see it! “Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, the 32nd Annual National Gingerbread Competition was cancelled. However, The Omni Grove Park Inn will keep the spirit of its treasured tradition alive through the *Gingerbread Trail of Giving.* For the first time, 40+ gingerbread artists will display their cookie and candy creations at local businesses throughout the Asheville community. Some houses will remain on display at The Omni Grove Park Inn, which will re-open for overnight visitation on Nov. 15. Gingerbread houses can be viewed from November 23, 2024 through January 5, 2025. Check out the Gingerbread Trail of Giving Map.” Read more HERE. ### JEREMIAH’S ITALIAN ICE: My mom and I went to Jeremiah's Italian Ice and I got a "medium" soft serve! 😳 It was the size of my forearm. Not kidding! 😂😂😂 ### FLOUR: Y'all, there is only one word to describe the biscuits they make at Flour inside the SWAsheville building on Patton Ave in Downtown Asheville: "GAH!" Salty buttery crispy flaky. Add more butter. And jam. Gah. ### ASHEVILLE CANNABIS TOURS: Last week on the Cannabis Tour, everyone started with a gift bag from Astria Avl, an Icy Cone from Cannabis 21 / Mellow Fellow, AND a snack in the middle from Twisted Laurel Downtown Asheville. Plus we picked up 4 Dogwalkers and some gummies along the way! My next Cannabis Tour leaves at 1pm next Friday, November 22 and you can purchase tickets HERE.
