be happy for Football week welcome the daily life of Frank the podcast that has meant for dads husbands and the average guy because I'm all three of those Yes, I am all three of those with a sprinkle of crazy I Think we all have a sprinkle of crazy. We all have a sprinkle of crazy, right? Just a dash crazy some have more than a sprinkle. That's okay Welcome to the podcast and yes, it is a football time.
We'll talk about that coming up in a little bit It is still summer even though we are officially in the fall season I have to come back down some my swearing this weekend and some of my nastiness and my craziness because my daughter She came to me yesterday yesterday or the day before I don't remember what it was And she said to me dad I really want to listen to your podcast because my daughter is in the podcast. She's seven. She wants to start her own podcast Which we're working on and yeah, I'm gonna start crying here on air So I have to you know have to cut it back in case she finds her way onto the podcast. She's very very good around Spotify.
I love that little girl so much I do I do and I'm so happy that she loves the podcast and wants to listen and I'm very Excited very excited but as always you know, I cost you ask me. Do you swear on your podcast? I'm like yes Yes, I do sweetheart. I do swear it has the explicit tag the E for a reason So yeah, so my daughter wants to listen to the podcast which is cool I'm really excited but you know, I don't know if you listen to the previous 168 episodes of this thing Some things are not appropriate for a seven-year-old.
No, they are not they are not and battling a canker sore inside my mouth and hurts every time I talk so we're gonna make this podcast three minutes today Oh, we're already past that So Back to the original point before this crazy train takes off. Yeah, so I'm gonna you know, I'm gonna have to I don't like it's I can't stop swearing That's who I am No, but the main point isn't very happy that my little girl is Interested in podcasting and is excited to learn more and all that it's gonna bring a happy tear to my eye I'm a new medication. I'm a new medication and this is to help me with ADHD. It's among this new medication It's been working great so far very excited.
I'm more focused I'm more in tuned. Hey, look. I'm taking this podcast at 5 30 in the morning And yeah, I just feel feel a lot better feel a lot better The only problem with is if you can't drink any alcohol with it It's like it's serious is like don't don't drink the alcohol with it because it's like, you know It's helping you keep focused and alcohol sometimes, you know Makes you sleepy and not focused so the combination of the two would be probably just offsetting so no alcohol for me But that's okay. I'm not bad upset.
I don't drink a lot of alcohol as it is But I found a Heineken zero thanks to my in-laws for that and that's delicious. I love Heineken zero I have chorus edge, which is another nine alcohol but not alcoholic. There we go beer. So I'm happy with that Yeah, so you know, it's not it's not you know You know great cuz I like to have some cores and I like to have you know beers and stuff like that and I drink You know a cider it is fall isn't it?
Um, so You know the nine alcoholic beers are good are good. No, they give you that beer taste so It'll be okay. Don't cry for me. It's fine.
I'll be okay. I'll be okay. Trust me. I'll be okay.
I know somebody you're like, uh We have to send him a letter and tell him. I'm sorry. We are for him. No, um So the new medicine is perfect.
It helps me a lot, but I like a drink and it's football season and I root for the bears So, uh, I was super hungry the other day and I know that's not a surprise for most people Most people are like, huh, I could could have told you that by looking at you that you you look super hungry Um, so I decided to go to McDonald's and I got my my fat cupon. E-nan. Have you ever done fat cupon? No, you're never fat cupon Um fat cupon is what I call when I go through the coupons and find deals that gives me an enormous amount of food for low cost So I found this deal that gave me a big mac fries and chicken nuggets At a low cost And I was very happy.
I was like $10 all together was great But it was always it was too. It was too much food. It was too much food because I'm on other medication And the one thing about this medication is you can't eat a lot if you eat a lot You'll throw up like my doctor was there like you pulled me in the room and she's like listen up dude If you if you take this medication Which is going to help you get your sugars and order and that kind of thing you can't eat a lot If you eat a lot you will throw up and just no joke you will throw up So I haven't thrown up yet, but I shit my pants and I'll tell that story coming up here because there's nothing like a shit my pants story Um There is not nothing like a shit my pants story to brighten somebody else's day You hear somebody tell you about shooting their pants and you're like you know what my day's not that bad My day's not that bad So I got all this food. I ate it and before I got to the eating part I ran upstairs with it Lards drinking hand food I ran upstairs and I was in flip-flops, which is a deadly combination right there running in flip-flops um And I was going to my office so I have like you know, I got my food I went back up.
I'm ready to go and I tripped and I fell Usually I'm kind of like a weeble. I kid wobble. I didn't nickname in high school was weeble You know weebles weebles wobble, but they never fall down. So usually like ooh there I go.
I'm back up Um, I'll straighten arrow there I go. Nope perfect um, but It it didn't happen that way I felt but in mid falling My fat sense is kicked in and I was able able to Falling away where the food and the drink were protected where the food and drink Were protected. That's how I fell That's how I fell Yeah, so I fell I was uh Surprise to see the drink and food intact. I wasn't really too surprised because the way I positioned my fault like I was so hungry at that point with all that food and the drink that I would have probably broke my arm before I Dropped any of that food.
That's all I'm great with and that's how fat I am But then later in the day my stomach was paying for it. I thought I had a little gas So I was farting farting farting farting and then that wasn't a fart And I don't know what my butthole did in that mere moment. I mean almost shooting my pants but kind of shooting my pants Uh, but my butthole like sucked it back in like I don't know if that was like I've taught it well like Disuck anything back in that's not a fart. Um It should have started out good 10 minutes.
It was it was clean. It was good and all of a sudden no pun intended it wasn't cleaning anymore um, so yeah, yeah, I uh, I Yeah, almost I'm not gonna go in detail what came out, but let's just say the shorts were okay. I know where we had to wash but It's just let's leave it at that but less alert is you should be a lot of fast food So less alert is I'm not throwing up when I eat a lot. I'm shooting my pants, which is great I'd rather throw up and I don't like throwing up.
I don't think anybody there was like, you know, I like throwing up I like throwing up. Hope everybody had a great Labor Day weekend. We The family had an amazing Labor Day weekend. I mean I can't even I could do a whole podcast about the Labor Day weekend Kicked off on Saturday.
We went to my in-laws for Pisa. It was great. I haven't seen my in-laws my mom and dad Forever, I've been so busy and I finally finally was like fuck it. I want to see that so we're going So we had a great great time on Saturday night had Pisa and then Sunday my neighbors who are amazing It's a great great great group in this cul-de-sac area And they held a Labor Day party they held a Labor Day party and it was great the kids had a great time I had a great time.
I wife had a great time. It was very very fun You know, just just having a couple beers not alcoholic for me unfortunately Some great food. It was just a great time And I had to go because I had tickets with my brother to the movie theater imagine movie theaters in Frankfurt, which I love No, it's not an ad. It's just a free plug because I love I was trying to get plug and love to rhyme there together And yeah, it was great at the theater.
It was great the the the all Yeah, we have blue blue. Okay. Let me try that again take two and I'm not adding this up knowing that I've got time or patience Um, and I'll have to go up at least 10 milligrams. I'm a medication before I start going back at any podcast Uh, so yeah, we had a great time the movie theater big screen AEW all out a w wrestling if you don't know what a w wrestling is and you're not a wrestling fan Check them out and you will become a wrestling fan So it's great snacks a plenty popcorn and basketball sticks and soda pops and it was great It was a great time at the theater and a w was a great show It was probably the best show that I've seen in the history of me watching wrestling So it was amazing.
It was amazing all together had a great time and what my brother had a great time and I got back from a w all out And then went to the part two of the labor day bash and uh, I stayed out probably the latest I've ever I've stayed out in a long time. I was out to at least I think 1 a.m 1 a.m My bedtime's dying. I'm a 90 year old man and a body of a 38 year old It was a great time. So awesome awesome friends awesome food family this weekend could not have asked for a better better weekend and then monday Monday was great too.
We visited my mom. My dad was working unfortunately, but my mom who visited her had some Have the typical tailian A linner will call it it was delicious meatballs and sausage and all that stuff So it was a good time. It was a good time. Great weekend.
Great weekend. I'm still recovering even though this is being played on a friday I'm still recovering. I'm still recovering from it. I think I need another like You know, I need I need any like two weeks off.
It's like a fun recovering. It's a fun recovering It's a fun recovering. No, you know, you're good when you're like you know how much fun you had over the weekend is when it's based on how much time You need to recover if I was like I only need two hours and you're like, oh, you didn't have that much fun I'm like, I need two weeks. Let me have fun Transitioning now, you know September 11th is This saturday this podcast wraps friday and it is which I couldn't believe it the 20-year anniversary of that horrific horrific day and I remember it just like it was yesterday I could literally I don't have a good memory and I can go into it and literally remember Everything that happened that day.
I was working for a radio station in downtown, chicago I remember waking up. I remember turning down the news and there was panic and there was fear and I remember watching the Second airplane go into the tower I remember it all I remember on the phone and you know with my manager at the time and saying don't come in downtown's being Evacuated and it just absolutely It's just absolutely man. I still get chills thinking about that day because like I said, that's that's the one day that I can remember like Close to what happened at every moment. This is the 20th anniversary of September 11th And I know the world is battling a lot of crap right now United States is battling a lot of crap right now But let's not forget how important this day is in our history and let's uh, let's do the right thing Remember those that lost their lives.
Um, chicago bears. Yeah chicago bears hopes I don't know I'm gonna give you my predictions right now. I think the beers are gonna be 10 and 7 this year That's my my prediction. The beers are gonna be 10 and 7 10 and 7 I feel they're gonna be But matinee i'd be better relinquish is stubbornness or it's going to be horrible It's going to be a horrible season because jus and field should really be the starter You really should be the starter.
We all agree to that. We all know that And for matinee not realizing that or matinee like matinee does Being stubborn Being stubborn. Uh, it's not gonna it's not gonna work in his favor because he's stubborn and he really is committed to anti-dulton And this team is not doing great. I don't think mannege is gonna have a job at the end of the year So I think the bears are gonna be 10 and 7 I think that there's a lot of hope for this season I think that if they stick with any Dalton it won't be a very good season.
I'm hoping any Dalton proves me wrong Uh, but I think that if Justin Fields gets in there sooner or later. I think Justin adds a spark to this offense He adds it to the team and I think that they will they will be very very good Do I think that this is like the year they win the Super Bowl? Probably not Um, but if they can build on this momentum they can build up on Justin Fields Then I think this team is going to be very good in the future or maybe oh hell. Let's hope it's this year I really hope it's this year so we're excited beer sunday.
It's a night game So the kids they have school and stuff in the next day. So they're gonna have to go to that pretty early Um, but we're planning a pool party in the afternoon with the kids has some grilling and it's gonna be a beautiful day out Has some fun like a little tailgate party and then uh, um Nighttime my wife and I because my kids for some daughter for some reason is not like sloppy joe She does not like sloppy joes. So my wife and I decided we're gonna have a homemade macaroni salad We're gonna do some sloppy joes has some chips And then uh, make a homemade Snickers ice cream, which we've done before which is absolutely delicious So we're looking forward to it.
