She has led award-winning concert, marching, and jazz ensembles, served in leadership roles at Churchill, Taft, and Georgetown High Schools, and worked with some of the nation's top Drum Corps International organizations.She has also broken new ground as a female band director in a traditionally male-dominated field.But this conversation isn't just about awards, performances, or accomplishments.
