Episode 17: Bruce McArthur, A Very Bad Santa

Happy holidays, beauties. Hopefully Santa has come and gone wherever you are, and that he brought you everything you dreamed of - because Kelly and Stacey have decided to close out the year with an absolute nightmare. Meet Bruce McArthur: Santa for hire, landscaper - and serial killer who terrorized the gay community in Toronto, Canada for at least a decade, probably more. Why don’t we know for sure? Well, the detectives on this case had a very sloppy list that most definitely was not checked twice. We also know you are probably done shopping for everyone else, so how about some gifts for YOU? Those are the best kind. You deserve it, beauties. See you in 2025.    Follow us on IG MMOTW Email us [email protected]   Things we love right now (and also probably in January) at 53:44 Caroline Manzo Food & Other Things I Love Leset Pointelle T-shirts and more  Comme Si Socks Sea NY Kiera Coat Alaia Le Teckel Nuuli Clothing Rental Mare Mare Faux Fur Coat   Dry January Resources:  Newsweek NPR Today   No Shopping Resources:  A Year Without Shopping No Buy Year Immy Lucas YouTube   Sources Wikipedia/Turkey CBC.CA - Selim Essen Remembered CBC.CA - Selim Essen Family Statement  BBC: Serial Killer Destroyed Safe Space Daily Mail - Mark Henderson Profile Wikipedia/Bruce McArthur The Guardian - How a Serial Killer Went Unnoticed The Canadian Encyclopedia: The Bruce McArthur Case Wikipedia Gay Village and Alexander Wood BBC Victims Of McArthur CBC.CA Timeline of investigation
