Episode 17: Chris Chamberlain, The Southern Foodie (Nashville, TN)

from The Southern Fork

If you've read about Southern food during the last five years, chances are, you've read something written by Chris Chamberlain. A Nashville native, Chris has written for numerous publications, from Food Republic to Conde Nast Traveler. He is an expert on beer and barbecue (yes, that is a real thing!), and he's written books to on those subjects which are really good guides to eating and drinking in the South. Chris and I know each other well; it's obvious from this chat, but I am always amazed at his thoughtfulness, passion for Southern foodways, and the way he is always turning the spotlight from himself onto the people he loves to write about. Case in point: for this interview, Chris chose the location, a brewery he wanted to introduce me to. Even when he's being interviewed himself, he's supporting others by spotlighting the great things they do.
