Episode 17: Ilsa's Endeavors - everyone belongs in travel!

Ilsa identifies as a fat, queer traveller and firmly believes that everyone belongs in the outdoors and should have the opportunity to travel! This is a topic so close to my heart as well - travel is a privilege and I hope it will become more accessible in future. In this episode, we talked about: representation and accessibility in outdoor spaces, how fat and queer communities can feel pushed out of travel and outdoor spaces simply because they don't feel like they belong, how straight and slim people can help and advocate for plus-size or queer friends and some examples of how 'being different' can feel in homogenous societies (such as South Korea, where Ilsa lived for two years). 👍🏼You can find Ilsa on Instagram or TikTok
