In this The Heart of the Story with Gary Metivier we take to a small town where we meet an inspiring community-centered veteran who gives back in so many ways. The veteran of the war in Iraq is still fighting to help those who got him home safely so that he can live the  American dream. The interpreters, whom he credits with saving his life in war-torn Iraq, are still targeted there for helping the Americans. John is trying to help them get to out of harms way as they find themselves and their families hunted years after the war.
