Mary Bowman is an Associate Director at Highland Rural – a small and relatively new firm of Rural Surveyors based in Dingwall Auction Mart. Originally from Edinburgh, Mary has lived in a variety of spectacular locations in the Highlands, working in different rural roles since she was 15, before settling on the Moray Coast. Join us Mary shares the journey from her rebellious decision to stay in Ardnamurchan to the sheer determination that has led her to where she is today, including working as a stalker and training hill ponies, to deciding to change career paths and go to university as a mature student. Despite some challenges along the way, Mary’s story demonstrates a fierce tenacity and inspirational drive to succeed, fueled by her unwavering love for rural Scotland.
