Episode 17 - The Corona, Small Ball, & Playoff Predictions

This week around the NBA, Andy and Liam show love and express condolences to their hometown of Nashville, and the families involved, as an extreme tornado ripped through the downtown area. Transitioning to the NBA, the deadly Coronavirus may limit the number of fans and arena staff from attending games, as executive league officers will have several plans in place by Thursday of this week. Speaking of future planning, James Harden and the Houston Rockets are in serious need of reconstruction before the Playoffs, as Mike D’Antoni’s “small ball” style of play doesn’t seem to be working after all… With the intention of Playoffs on their minds, Andy and Liam predict where each team will land before the first games are played, and which teams have the best shot of making it to the Finals. With Andy’s confidence in Lebron bringing home a championship for Kobe, the “King” and the Lakers display themselves as a strong candidate to do so as the ‘Purple and Gold’ clinch their first playoff berth over Giannis and the Bucks since 2013. Provided that Giannis and Lebron will likely take their squads deep into the Playoffs, Liam’s “My Question to You is”, “Who will win MVP – Lebron or Giannis?” Rounding out the episode, Stephen Curry makes his debut back onto the court earning himself “Player of the Week,” and the Indiana Pacers feel good after returning home from winning 4 of their last 5 games on the road.
