Episode 17: The Faith of Anglicans - Articles 6, 7, & 8

We're continuing our series on the Thirty-Nine Articles, picking up with Part Two:  The Rule of Faith.  I'm using John Rodgers book, The Faith of Anglicans published by Anglican House, and used with their permission.  I encourage you to purchase a copy for yourself at anglicanhousepublishers.org so you can follow along. Roger's writes, "Anglicans are biblical Christians and credal Christians.  When we are considering the truth of theological statements of belief, we must have a "canon," a standard or measuring rod of truth.  For Anglicans, the Bible is the supreme standard of truth, which is summed up in the Creeds.  This section sets forth the "rule of faith" that Anglicans use in this regard." (23) Part Two covers Articles 6, 7, and 8:  Of the sufficiency of the Holy Scriptures for salvation; of the Old Testament; and of the three creeds.
