Episode 17: The power of choices
from The Diet Diaries · host Jordana Edelstein
Episode 17 is all about our ability to make choices. Seems simple, yet its actually a game changer when everything about fitness and food is pretty much all or nothing, where you have very few options. Let's stop making people feel guilty by telling them "no excuses" when it comes to their workouts and instead empower them to make choices that fit their life. Let's stop telling them there is only one way to exercise. Because there's really an infinite number of ways based on what's happening in your life. This is how we build consistency, this is how we shift our relationship with exercise from one of punishment and fixing what's wrong with our bodies to one thats about celebrating and caring for ourselves in a compassionate way. And once we find that, movement and exercise become an integrated part of our lives. Which means we feel good, we're confident and capable and live our lives the way we want. Thank you for listening.
