In this episode, Levi interviews his spiritual director, Kyle Stevens. Listen in as Kyle authentically shares his story of burnout and disillusionment as a pastor and missionary and how learning new practices in spiritual direction training dramatically shifted his inner experience of his faith. As an Enneagram Type One, Kyle speaks about the experience of the inner critic, and how learning to more deeply receive the acceptance and love of God for himself replaced this inner critic with a deep-seated confidence in the faithfulness of God’s love for all people, including himself.
