Episode 17 with Beth Leinder

She is an account manager for Impedimed. She has a nursing background; she had been working in the medical device industry for over 15 years in the breast health space. She worked in the Operating Room from 1984 to 2000, She worked primarily with an Ophthalmologist and with some reconstructive and plastic surgeons as a surgical first assistant. She later went on to work with a Surgical Oncologist as a Research Coordinator for approximately 5 years. The coordinator ensures that the patient understands the purpose of the study and the risks and benefits of the study. Her past clinical experience in the OR and as a coordinator was helpful in providing support to the sales team as well as providing support to the clinical team and providers that worked with the patients. She has been with Impedimed about a year and a half. Impedimed has a desire to ensure no patient at a risk of lymphedema goes untested. They had made great progress since she has been with Impedimed and she is so proud to be part of their goal of educating our providers and enabling women to get tested.
