Cary Tennis is probably best known for his Salon.com column, Since You Asked -- and irreverent yet kind Dear Abby kind of thing. Hilarious and heartfelt. He went on to teach the Amherst writing workshops at he and his wife Norma's cool home by Ocean Beach -- a marvelous moment in time. Around 2016, they up and moved to Italy for good. Cary continues to teach, play music with Italians, and explore what life is all about via his incredible writings. I was over the moon to have him up to the HSV Radio space and chat about the Haight, SF, punk rock, the good old days, and much more.
