In this Classic Album series, we're going to listen to Country Joe and The Fish's "Electric Music For The Mind and Body'. It was released in May of 1967, a few weeks before they performed at The Monterey International Pop Festival. The record contained a variety of musical styles like pop, blues, experimental psychedelic rock. And it was done with melody, humor and precise instrumentation. This was the most impressive debut album by most of the Bay Area bands.
