Episode 173 - Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania (w/Brandocritic)

from Talkin' TV

What's going on guys, we're back with another week, which means we've got another podcast, which means another movie to watch. What's the movie? A Marvel movie...oh no. The fact that's the reaction that we have towards the MCU should make the writing on the wall pretty obvious, but the almost unbearable amount of negative reactions that came from the initial release of the third film in the Ant-Man trilogy, Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania were staggering to say the least. Scott Lang, in the wake of the Endgame snap, has become a successful writer and celebrity, while his almost adult daughter Cassie has become an activist. Her latest attempt, a quantum signal developed by her and Hank Pym, has the unfortunate side effect of beaming them back down to the Quantum Realm and bringing them face to face with a foe from Janet's past and the new MCU big bad: Kang the Conqueror. Dom is joined by his old friend Brandon Wettig aka Brandocritic to break down exactly what's going on with the MCU, why this movie seems to be the latest target for fan's wrath, whether it's as bad as everyone says it is, and what this spells out for movies going forward. New episodes released every Monday on the #talkintvpodcast
