Episode 173 - Maria Simone

In 2021 Maria Simone moved from her hometown in Jacksonville out west to Los Angeles not only for work opportunities but to also pursue her goal of being a musician. Today she joined us on episode 173 to discuss that decision and how it’s led to an abundance of growth and opportunity that continues to evolve every day! Growing up in the church choir Maria always had a love for singing that has now morphed into being a solo artist giving her the ability to tell her own story to the world. After her 2022 release titled “Be Free” she talked about being able to find her unique voice and continue to build a back catalogue of music that she’s excited to begin releasing more consistently in the coming months. She also has recently joined a local band as the lead singer and gives more insight on what she’s learned being able to perform live with experienced musicians at local shows and events giving her the chance to expand her horizons even further beyond studio recordings.
