Join Carla as she interviews Charmaine Chvala-Smith, Katherine Goheen, and Matt Frizzell to discuss the following statement:"The fact is that none of us know life in first century Rome. Nor do we know life in Babylonian exile. Most white Americans know no equivalent. We've never been conquered nor lived under another occupying authority. That makes nearly the entire bible out of context for us, and easily misinterpreted. Moreover, very few Christians know anything about Torah, rabbinic tradition(s), and the oral law.
