Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has secured regulatory approval in France, according to a release from France's capital market regulator, the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers). Binance is now a registered Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) in France and will be permitted to custody digital assets; facilitate the purchase, sale and exchange of such assets; and operate a trading platform for them. Crypto exchange Coinbase (COIN) said Wednesday it has opened the beta version of its non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace to the public. Coinbase saw just 900 transactions and 73 ETH (around $210,000) of sales volume in the debut week of its beta, though Coinbase did not say how many users had been granted access to the platform. Starbucks plans to launch a series of non-fungible token (NFT) collections, according to a company blog post published Tuesday.
