He received his PhD from Cambridge University, served as Senior Lecturer in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Edinburgh, has written over 20 books, and is currently Research Professor of Systematic Theology at Trinity. His work covers many areas of theology and has inspired and influenced many to study the Bible, including Chad.
