Chef Michael Hirst first pedaled a bike in his native England, but today he's busy opening his new Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Sac City, where on July 25 he'll welcome thousands of bicyclists into one of the overnight towns on this year's RAGBRAI. Hirst's extensive global culinary experience includes cooking for British royals and members of rock band Queen. How did he end up here, establishing a cooking school at Iowa Central Community College and opening this new steakhouse as one of three co-owners, each from a different continent? Listen to find out.
