Episode 178 - John Wick Chapter 4 + Succession Season 4 Preview w/Luk Reviews

from Talkin' TV

We're wrapping up March Madness with a very much anticipated set of releases. Dom is joined once again by action guru Luk of Luk Reviews to review John Wick: Chapter 4, the fourth installment in the hit action franchise that has been a staple of the last decade. Picking up from the last one, the titular Wick, played once again by Keanu Reeves, is hell bent on taking out the members of the High Table who betrayed him in the last one, only to find himself up against a new adversary, the Marquis de Cremont, who is equally as hell bent on seizing power by destroying Wick once and for all. To do this, he recruits an old ally of Wick's, the equally lethal Caine (Donnie Yen), as well as a horde of new assassins, as we once again explore the assassin underground world set up by the previous three films. Franchise staples Ian McShane, Lance Reddick & Laurence Fishburne return as Winston, Charon & the Bowery King, along with new cast members Bill Skarsgard, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawayama, Natalia Tena, Clancy Brown & Scott Adkins. Then, they give a preview for the pending fourth and final season of Succession, which has taken the world by storm the last couple years as the must watch it show. Series creator Jesse Armstrong had recently announced that this season would be the final one, meaning all eyes are on the Roy siblings as they gear up to take down their father after he screwed them out of the company in the season 3 finale. It's another gangbusters episode of the #talkintvpodcast new episodes released every Monday.
