Episode 179: Rook Richards (Singer/songwriter) [Alexandria, VA]

Episode 179 features Mike "Rook" Richards who is a singer-songwriter based in Alexandria, VA. He is currently performing throughout the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas while also writing his next record. His influences range from John Mayer, Rob Thomas, Morgan Wade, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Stevie Wonder and others. I wanted to sit down one day and talk to him in person because we have a few mutual friends and also happen to both play ice hockey. Rook has set a fairly ambitious goal this year to release one song per month and I featured the first song of which on this episode.
