In this episode, I run through how our star Super Eagles have fared for their club sides over in Europe & Nigeria over the past week including Paul Onuachu scoring his 32nd league goal of the season! It’s also the weekend of the FA Cup Final as Kelechi Iheanacho & Wilfred Ndidi bid to make history by winning Leicester City’s 1st ever FA Cup against Chelsea having lost all previous 4 finals, including the last one 52 years ago! Super Falcons Superstar Asisat Oshoala also plays in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final on Sunday as her club side Barcelona (also La Liga Champions with 26 wins from 26 games) face WSL Champions Chelsea on Sunday! Henry Onyekuru & Oghenekaro Etebo’s Galatasaray head into the final round of fixtures in Turkey level on points with Besiktas & have a chance to win the SuperLig title later on Saturday today. Congratulations to Joe Aribo (Rangers) & Abdullahi Shehu (FC Omonia) who celebrated winning league titles in Scotland and Cyprus respectively! In other news, the Nigeria Football Federation has announced a friendly against our West African rivals Cameroon, taking place in Vienna on June 4th with a provisional 31-man squad list announced including Moffi, Simy, Olayinka & new invitee Abraham Marcus to name a few with with the final squad to be whittled down to 23 before the game is played.
