Episode 18: Hot Dog Eating Champion Miki Sudo

from Kids Pod · host Aimee Chan

Welcome to Kids Pod, a podcast where kids get to ask adults the questions they really want to know. Nothing is too rude to ask. You send in the questions and our adults will give kids the answers they want to hear. Do your parents tell you that you eat too fast? Or you don't eat enough? Well Miki Sudo is a really good eater. She enters eating competitions all over the USA, She can eat 221 buffalo chicken wings in 12 minutes and a 10 scoop ice cream sundae with whipped cream in one sitting.  And she has won the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Competition in New York City 6 years in a row. Last year she ate 31 hot dogs in 10 minutes. Today she is going to tell us why eating without chewing properly can sometimes be a good thing.  Kids Pod was created by Aimee Chan. Intro by Niki Strauss. Cover art by Glen Strauss. Narration by Joshua Sandral. Special thanks to Miki Sudo, Lucas, Scarlett, Harry, Maya and Ted.
