With just a few laps remaining and Busch seemingly in control, Logano's right-front tire exploded, sending him into the wall and sending the caution flag flying. While most drivers elected to pit for tires, Ryan Newman and crew chief Luke Lambert decided to take track position over fresh tires. Newman led the field to green in overtime and was able to withstand a late push from Kyle Larson to capture the checkered flag for the first time since 2013.
