One of the greatest joys of coming home is being welcomed.To know that someone is genuinely glad to see you.To be received with love rather than indifference.With gratitude rather than expectation.As Paul prepares to send Epaphroditus back to Philippi, he does more than announce his arrival.He encourages the church to receive him with joy.Why?Because faithful servants sometimes return carrying burdens that others cannot see.They may be weary.They may be discouraged.They may wonder whether their efforts mattered.Paul reminds the Philippians that one of the Church’s beautiful responsibilities is to welcome one another with the love of Christ.
