Episode 184: Ephesians Series: Activate Your Spiritual Blessings

(Ephesians‬ ‭1:3‬) Oh! How my soul praises and celebrate my God! Oh! How my soul bless God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Glory! God our Father has blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings, all- in Christ. He has blessed us with His presence, goodness, grace, mercy, life, wisdom, ability, virtues - All these I listed, and more, in Christ. While meditating and worshipping God for these blessings, the words “in Christ” kept coming to mind. All the spiritual blessings can only be enjoyed in Christ. I remembered how excited I was, when I received my first debit card. I just loved the colour and the embossed digits and letters on the card. However, I could neither withdraw any cash nor use the card in stores until the card was activated. This could be applied to our spiritual blessings too. God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings however, it can only be activated in Christ, by belonging to Christ, in unity with Christ. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we need to be intentional to keep the spiritual blessings God has endowed us with- active, by continuously staying in Christ so we can expressly operate in the dimensions of the blessings He has given us. Let’s pray Father, we thank You for Your blessings. Thank You for the grace You have poured on us the day we accepted Your salvation plan through Christ. Open our eyes to this truth. Enlighten our eyes of understanding so we can enjoy and also operate in the these blessings. Thank You for answering our prayers. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
