Episode 187: Ephesians Series: You Are Redeemed And Forgiven!

(Ephesians 1:7; Gal 3:14; Colossians 1:13-14) “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Redemption is from the word ‘redeem’ and the dictionary meaning means to buy back to win back to compensate for the faults or bad aspects of When Christ died as a sacrifice on the cross, He paid the price to make us free, to buy us back, to win us back from the Enemy. Galatians 3:13 states that “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:” “So the law put a curse on us, but Christ took away that curse. He changed places with us and put himself under that curse. It is written in the Scriptures, “Everyone whose body is displayed on a tree is cursed.”” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭ICB‬‬ Because of Christ's death on our behalf, God has forgiven our sins. God is so very kind that he has done all this for us!” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭EASY‬‬ God delivered us from the power of darkness, He rescued us from the tyrannical rule darkness, He saved us from the authority of darkness, and hath translated us- transferred us- brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son.
