Episode 189 | - Subterranean Shack

from Drunk in a Graveyard · host Drunk in a Graveyard

Episode 189 – the crew has two weeks worth of mental problems to discuss and get things started talking about Darkfest at Kamloops Film Festival and our screening of indigenous revenge thriller film "Seeds". We also talk about Irish hip-hop film Kneecap, Robin's limited understanding of how the UK works, angry old people mad about the rap music, aggressive encounters in public bathrooms, fainting like a goat and feeling like spring has sprung a bit. Skarsgård Sundays returns as the crew discusses "Hold The Dark", a bleak Alaskan horror film about wolves, desolation and putting Alexander Skarsgård in a Carhartt jacket, and then we swing from the vines as we discuss The Legend of Tarzan. We talk briefly about Belle Gibson, the girl with all the cancers, trying to befriend Canadian geese, and Bill Burr's new amazing comedy special "Drop Dead Years". We also are pleased to announce that for National Canadian Film Day on April 16th we will be screening werewolf menarche movie Ginger Snaps for FREE at the Paramount Theatre with Kamloops Film Society.   ****************************************************** "Kill,Kill,Kill" by Coyote Hearing is licensed under CC BY 3.0 ****************************************************** Be sure to follow us on Facebook, especially for more information about our ongoing events with Kamloops Film Society and you can find us shitposting over on Instagram.
