Episode #19: Desiree Ellen

"I was born and raised in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs and went on to receive a degree in fashion design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I always push myself to achieve my goals no matter what, which has helped me grow into a reliable and diligent designer. It is my belief that the ultimate fashion designers influence not only the way people dress but also the way people think; this is the kind of designer I aspire to be. My passions and inspirations come from punk rock, feminism, the environment, architecture, and pop culture, and through these inspirations I aspire to be a part of the generation that will challenge and improve this industry from the inside out, because I have faith that fashion can be so much more than what it seems to be at face value." - Desiree Ellen
