Episode 19 - Eve Was Framed - The Power of Women & Words with Emily Jahnke of Tall Pines Poetry
from Healing for Hearts & Minds with Nurse Jesse
Emily Jahnke is a social worker, poet, and fellow nature-lover. With 18+ years of social work experience, Emily has always used writing as an outlet for processing current events and social justice issues. From political writing and processing grief to capturing the joy of everyday moments, poetry has always been an integral part of her human experience. Two years ago, this love of writing combined with cosmic timing led to the creation of something special. As Emily describes it, Tall Pines Poetry came from the courage to say 'yes'. It came from a willingness to ask questions with an open heart and to trust intuition when it answered. To share poetry with the world; something that it took decades to be brave enough to do. So today, Emily shares from a place of celebration and gratitude for all of the opportunities created, and even more than that, the people she's met along the way.
