Episode 19 – Food Fable: Tomatoes

Plated Earth Food Fables are original short historical fiction stories about produce and its ability to connect people, culture, and history. This Food Fable tells the story of a detective and his bumbling associate, who are called to investigate suspicious poisonings at an upper-class home in the English countryside in the early 17th century. Through his intuitive investigatory skills, the detective comes to find that the poisonings do not lead him to interrogate someone, but rather some thing – the tomato.
