She spent several years in community and acute care clinical settings before entering health technology. Outside of work, Evita’s focus is on increasing access to nutritious, sustainable, and culturally appropriate food and continuing the work to increase inclusivity within the field of nutrition. Evita hosts health workshops alongside diverse practitioners, teaches community cooking classes, and mentors BIPOC nutrition students.
