Episode 19 - Sarah Goldfeder

from The Northern Sentinels Podcast · host Chris Ayotte

Photo - Sarah just after becoming a Canadian citizen. On this episode, I’m joined by Sarah Goldfeder. A dual American and Canadian citizen, Sarah was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but moved extensively during her childhood. Before she started university in Oregon, she lived in Madrid Spain, Spokane, Washington, and Anchorage Alaska. She eventually found her way to the U.S. State Department which allowed her to work around the globe in places like Burma, Tijuana Mexico, and last, but not least, Ottawa. Fortunate for us, this is where she met her spouse and decided to make Canada her new home. She is currently the head of government relations for General Motors Canada and we speak at length about the future of non-combustion engine cars and the history of GM in our country. Our partner for this episode is Soldiers for Soldiers - a free peer discussion group for serving CAF members. Show notes:Third Culture KidsA brief history of GM in CanadaOshawa Mayor, Dan CarterThanks again for listening to the NSP.NSP on LinkedInNSP on FacebookNSP on InstagramNSP Podcast Music Credit (episodes 19 - onwards): PaulYudin, Upbeat Uplifting CorporateNSP Podcast Music Credit (episodes 1 - 18): RomanSenykMusic, Action TrailerNSP Podcast Logo - L.
