Katie is a London-based nature connector, a qualified Forest School Leader and forest bathing guide, and a campaigner and social entrepreneur. She is the founder and Director of Forest & Family, which is a London forest school and nature connection organization promoting the links between nature, health and wellbeing. She is also the founder of Forest Bathing London, which is dedicated to promoting and supporting forest bathing in London and for Londoners. She works as a trainer, speaker and forest therapy coach and diploma mentor and with a wide range of partners and clients providing nature connection training and services. Katie is one of over 50 London National Park City Rangers, a role that falls under the London national park city movement which is all about making the city greener, wilder and healthier – London is in fact the world’s first National Park City!! Katie holds degrees in Poverty Reduction and Development Management, and Theology and Religion, and before nature connection she worked in international development and for many years in higher education at several leading universities in the UK. She lives in London with her husband, two young daughters, two rabbits and in a few weeks… also a dog called Storm.
