This was one of the more exciting sections of The Wise Man’s Fear. In this episode Kvothe does all the right things. He saves Maer Alveron, and successfully courts Lady Lackless. He spends a great deal of time with Denna. And it seems like he might, maybe be getting a sense of how to move that relationship forward. Also, we explained this in our last Game of Thrones episode, but we now have a podcast “safeword.” This is for when we recognize that we are arguing over some stupid point that doesn’t deserve the time that we are giving it. The safeword is “Marmalade.” And, you too, can yell it at your phone when we drone on about some pedantic point. It won’t do anything. But, you can yell it anyway. Next time we will cover chapters 70-77.
