Episode 19 – There But For The Grace Of God

A routine mission discovers another dead world with a warning for all Jaffa and while Daniel is exploring the complex he finds a treasure trove of artefacts and being Daniel he can’t help but touch. Well he learnt the hard way about burning your fingers when he finds himself back on Earth which is not quite the same place he left and the remainder of SG1 are playing very different roles. The Go’auld are very much a known quantity though and with echos of Independence Day the year before the Earth trembles with the wraith of Apophis!!! Now this was an excellent episode both in terms of single ep story telling but synced into the overall arc beautifully even though we didn’t get the huge pay off until the episode after next.
