Episode 19 | Voices of Recovery | Built By The Red Stick

from Built By The Red Stick · host Rhea Media Group

This week we welcome Gregory Greer (Drug & Alcohol Counselor, MSW, LAC, CGP) He works with individuals struggling with alcoholism, addiction, codependent relationships, and those seeking spiritual growth. The primary goal is to help clients break free from addictive relationships and cultivate new, healthy connections. Professional literature shows that the most successful outcomes in treating addiction and alcoholism often come from working in group settings with others who are facing similar challenges. However, many individuals experience anxiety in group environments and require individual attention before they feel comfortable participating in group therapy. Gregory is trained in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and is currently pursuing a PhD in Quantum Metaphysics. He is the Clinical Director and Primary Counselor at Red Hill Recovery, owns Voices of Recovery, LLC, and serves as a board member of the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers. He is also a Certified Group Psychotherapist with the American Group Psychotherapy Association and the Louisiana Coordinator for Souldrama, an experiential therapy founded by Connie Miller, LPC.As a recovering alcoholic, Greg understands firsthand the shame, guilt, and fear that can accompany seeking help. His own personal journey spans over 20 years, from Los Angeles to New Orleans. We are excited to have him on the show and hope you enjoy!
