Pain and suffering is not and should not be a normal part of love, but for some strange reason (especially in the Black community) we think that it is. A lot of women tend to think that if they continue to forgive, nurture, and love someday the favor will be reciprocated and some men think that their spot has no expiration date no matter how poorly they treat their mate. It's time to tear down the perception that if you hang in there long enough, everything will get better and you will be rewarded in the end.
