Episode 19 | "What Would Obama Do?"
from Raw Conversations with Chromez & Fanatik · host Raw Conversations with Chromez & Fanatik
Chromez is on Vacation so that’s why this episode is one week late, apologies family. Fanatik had to travel from Lusaka to Kabwe to link up with Chromez so they could record this episode. It starts with them discussing legendary artist Oliver Mtukudzi passing away, Fanatik wants to know why Zambia doesn’t have a legend of that magnitude (6:22). They then discuss Zambian artist B Flow giving a reluctant apology for adding fellow artist General Kanene to ‘I Care About Her’ program (31:00). Zambian artist Slapdee took to Twitter to ask questions about Nigerian artist Mr. Eazi’s Empawa Project, the guys try to dissect why he did that. He also recently announced that the video to his song ‘Lituation’ cost him K 300,000 ($ 30,000) to make (The guys reviewed the video on Episode 2 ‘Where Is The Money?’), Chromez & Fanatik breakdown how all of this ties into each other (41:06). Chromez gives his thoughts on Nigerian movie Lion Heart by Genevieve Nnaji that was bought by Netflix for US$ 3.5M (Equivalent to over a Billion Naira) (53:50). The boys take it back to Slapdee to talk about his new song and video ‘New Day’, looks like someone may have taken notes from this podcast (Listen to Episode 13 ‘Cover Your Kitty Cat’) (1:00:37). Theres a new reality show in town, Lusaka Hustle starring Zambian personalities Kuni, Thandi & Cleo Ice Queen, Chromez watched it and has a few things to say (1:06:34) Follow the hosts; twitter.com/theechromez twitter.com/fanatik_lochead Follow the Podcast; twitter.com/rawconpodcast instagram.com/rawconversationspodcast facebook.com/rawconversationspodcast Join WhatsApp Group; linktr.ee/rawconversationspodcast Remember to Subscribe and leave us a comment or review!
